Welcome to #FreedomHop 2014!
I'm so happy you could stop by to celebrate one of our greatest freedoms...Reading!

Maybe you're on the road traveling for the holiday and need a great book to keep make the journey fun...

Or maybe you're relaxing at home, soaking up the sounds of nature...

If you're looking for a new read this holiday weekend, please check these out:

Anything You Want is the first book of my River Jewel Resort Series and was picked as a 2014 RomCon Reader's Crown Finalist.

Sydney Blake thought she had the ideal life. A dashing, successful husband and dream home were all she ever wanted. But everything wasn’t as perfect as she believed. When Sydney catches her husband, Roger, screwing another woman, Sydney files for divorce and falls into a deep depression.

Her only friend, Alexandra, does everything she can to cheer Sydney up. Lexi even suggests a weekend getaway and ‘sex with a random stranger’ to get over her slimy cheating husband’s ways. But Sydney has always believed in marriage and everything it stands for. Besides, she wasn’t even divorced yet and Sydney still hoped that Roger and she would reconcile.

It became apparent Roger would never change and Sydney needed to go somewhere far away from her small town for a little while. Little did she know, she was destined to be a guest at the extravagant River Jewel Resort. After meeting the charming manager of the beautiful hotel, Mark Willburn, Sydney might just learn to let down her guard and find more than she ever knew she needed.

Sydney Blake is about to get her first taste of freedom and the River Jewel Resort aims to please each and every customer.

Or maybe you're in the mood for a funny, smutty paranormal romance?

Nothing too serious...just some good ol' fashioned fictional fun:
Selena Barnes comes from a long line of witches. When her parents were killed in a magical accident, she surrendered her powers and kept them a secret from her fiance’, Shawn Richardson. Up to this point in her life, her biggest problems involved wedding details, appointments and town gossip. However, Selena will learn that things aren’t always as they appear.

She finds herself involved in deeply disturbing lies and her true destiny is revealed by her long lost friends, Kelly and Keith Jacobs. With each revelation, she teeters on the precipice of her sanity. Can Selena accept the truth and save her friends or will she embrace the evil that wishes to claim her?

As you've probably guessed, Selena has her hands full and I'm not just talking about her sudden problems **wink, wink** . Maybe her old friend, Keith Jacobs can turn things around for her?

Either way, prepare yourself for the many fireworks you'll be sure to see!!
Speaking of...this is where we go to watch the annual show around here and across the water is one of the inspirations for the River Jewel Resort. To win a book from my backlist of your choice, simply tell me where you have gone OR would love to go to watch the 4th of July fireworks. Leave me a comment (with the best email to contact you with if you win) below and I'll choose a winner on July 8th.
I hope you have the most wonderful holiday weekend! Have fun and be safe. Thank you so much for stopping by my place and don't forget to keep hopping<3

I am not really fond of crowds and would rather stay home than venture out even to see fireworks! We used to take our kids to BoomsDay in Knoxville until a rude neighbor was being so careless setting off fireworks one year and we were afraid to leave the house and come home to ashes.

I love these blog hops! You made me laugh with your funny, smutty paranormal comment!

Looks like a beautiful place to watch fireworks from!

I like to stay home. Our town actually has fireworks the weekend after the 4th so we don't compete with the surrounding towns.

I grew up in Washington DC and then you could walk over to the Wash monument, spread a blanket and watch the fireworks with a few friends! Now I watch them from my beach as they shoot out over the Gulf. Much better! M. S.
